WordPress 6.0.1 maintenance release

WordPress 6.0.1 was released on July 12th, 2022. This maintenance release contains a total of 31 bug fixes (13 in the core and 18 in the block editor).

Download WordPress 6.0.1 to install or go to Dashboard → Updates and click Update Now. Websites that support automatic background updates are already starting to update automatically.

WordPress 6.0.1 is a short-cycle maintenance release. For a summary of the major updates in this release, see the RC1 announcement. You can also visit the 6.0.1 HelpHub documentation page for more information. The next major release will be version 6.1, which is planned for later in 2022.
