On February 22, 2022, WordPress 5.9.1 was released. This is a maintenance release that fixes 82 bugs in both the kernel and block editor. For optimal use of WordPress 5.9, we recommend that you apply this update.
You can start updating WordPress 5.9.1 via the backend in Dashboard › Updates or by downloading the file from WordPress.org. If your site supports automatic background updates, you may already have the new version installed.
